Friends of Las Vegas National Wildlife Refuge

The Friends manage events at the Refuge, including Sunday lectures, the Concert for the Birds, November's Fall Flight Festival, and educational programs. We occasionally organize trail maintenance and cleanup crews.

Volunteering to help is a good way to get to know the Refuge and the other members. To volunteer, contact our Volunteer Coordinator, Joe Zebrowski, or the Refuge Visitor Services Manager, Debbie Pike, and they'll tell you what we need at the moment.

Check out these opportunities:

We are also seeking volunteers for the following positions:
Volunteer Coordinator: Help recruit volunteers for various Refuge programs and track volunteer participation.

Education Coordinator: Work with the Friends and Refuge Staff in bringing various education and outrech programs to schools and the public.
